Weetabix Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards 2023/24

The Weetabix Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards is an annual competition run by the sector for the sector and which is aimed at celebrating all that is great about local food and drink, recognising excellence within the county’s dining and drinking venues and rewarding those who work so hard within the culinary sector.

 

Launched in the spring each year, the Awards attract hundreds of entries from restaurants, pubs, chefs, cafés and producers as well as nominations and recommendations from the public. Then follows judging stages with tasting panels, mystery shopping visits and cook offs. In the summer the Artisan Producers Category awards are announced, followed by a spectacular Awards Dinner in the Autumn for all sponsors, judges, finalists, supporters and local celebrities.

 

The Weetabix Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards is unique in the fact that not only does it celebrate achievement at an awards evening, it provides long-lasting support with individual mentoring, business support and training, marketing and promotion as well as entrance into the Great Taste Awards for the Gold product and drink winners. Feedback is provided to entrants who request it.

The Awards are generously supported and sponsored by major food and drinks businesses based in the county including headline sponsor Weetabix.
